Round two of the 1988 World Sports Car Championship is a sprint race, the 1988 Jarama 360 Kilometers.
After the Sauber Mercedes victory at Jerez, the Silk Cut Jaguar team come to round two of the championship, ready to reverse/even the score with the three pointed star, from the previous weekend. The Jarama race will be the first of two “sprint” events of 360 kilometers in distance. Jaguar, Mercedes, and Porsche, all need the points on the board early in the year, and this one pit stop sprint race could be the way any of them could earn them.
