Group C Race of The Day: World Sports Car, Jarama – 1989

The traveling circus that is the 1989 FIA World Sports Car Championship, comes to Spain, and to the Jarama circuit in the Jarama valley, in Madrid, for round number three of the championship.  Spain, in the long, hot summer, of ’89.  Mercedes won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a non championship round, two weekends before this event.  Can they triumph again?  Let’s go, and find out.  Richard Nichols, calls the action.
