Silverstone 1,000 Kilometers: May 4th, 1986

Jaguar won a World Sports Car Championship race, for the first time in 29 years, at this event.  Their first win since the days of the Jaguar D Type at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1957, on their home circuit at Silverstone.
