1989 Aston Martin AMR1

More V8 thunder from later on in the Group C era.  This is the second generation Aston Martin Group C car, the AMR1.  The first, was the Aston Martin Nimrod from the early 1980s.  Another video from 19Bozzy92.  Have not found any video of that one, but will look.  This is the AMR1 and like the Nimrod, it is powered once again, by an earth shaking, thunderous normally aspirated V8 that was partially developed for Aston Martin by Reeves Callaway of Callaway Corvette fame.  Here you are a short video I made of the 1989 Aston Martin AMR1 Group C race car. The one you see here is chassis 05, final development of AMR1 and powered by a Callaway modified 6.3 liters V8 engine which is able to produce 740 bhp. Listen to it roaring on track.

  1. As you have seen, there is video, in brief of the first generation Aston Martin Nimrod in the previous post. Disregard what was said about having not found any footage. It is there, right before the AMR1 video feature.
