It was so special to see Group C prototypes racing at Imola Circuit. There were some nice and unique cars such as that Puma-spondsored Alba AR8 featuring a Buick twin-turbo engine or the 1982 Rondeau M382. Hope you like the video!

1992 Lola T92/10 Group C

Another car, from the last hurrah for Group C, from the early 1990s.  This is the Lola T92/10 which utilized a Judd built V10 Formula 1 engine, very similar to the all conquering Peugeot 905 of the same era.  This video is from 19Bozzy92.

It was so special to see this particular Group C prototype stretches its legs around Circuit Paul Ricard during the 2019 Dix Mille Tours racing weekend by Peter Auto. The T92/10 was built in 1992 by Lola Cars and it was designed to look more like a covered Formula car than a prototype. A lot of windtunnel development was done achieving extraordinarily high down-force figures combined with modest drag giving the car a very high lift-to-drag’ ratio. Following the new 3.5-litre Group C rules they opted for the Judd GV10 engine already used in Formula 1 during those years. #LolaT9210 #JuddV10 #GroupCRacing

March 85G GTP Porsche – HUGE FLAMES!

This fire breathing beast, is the U.S. equivalent of what a Group C car was in Europe, during the 1980s.  This is the IMSA GTP (Grand Touring Prototype) March 85G Porsche, in action, on video, from Belgian-Motorsport, racing as part of historic Group C at the Monza Historic Races.

Jaguar XJR-8 & XJR-9 Racing at Monza Circuit: TWR 7.0 V12 Sound!

This video is about two Jaguar Group C cars I recorded during the 2019 Monza Historic by Peter Auto.

The one with number 61 is a 1987 XJR-8 featuring the front with small headlights used in sprint races. The TWR V12 engine was able to produce around 720 hp and 820 Nm of torque.

The second one, number 3 with the big endurance headlights, should be chassis J12-C-187 which was built as a XJR-8 for the ’87 season but then upgraded to the XJR-9 specs for 1988.
