Group C Race of the Day: World Sports Car, Nurburgring, 1989

The final event in the retrospective of the 1980s in Group C.  Round five of the 1989 World Sports Car Championship was held at the legendary Nurburgring in West Germany.  The Sauber Mercedes C9s will start on the front row of the grid.  It’s going to be a civil war, to find out who the winner is.  Mercedes fighting in one army, and on the other, Jaguar.  This will be a classic race.  Richard Nichols, once again, is in the commentary box to take you through all of the action.
