Hockenheim 1,000 Kilometers: July 14th, 1985

Recall that this race had several incidents in it, including at least three pit fires because of the hot weather combined with the blowback of the high octane fuel used in the Group C cars through the fuel tanks, and a fire marshaling staff that was subpar at best.
